BHCC COVID-19 and Practice Nets Update

07 Jun 2020

The government and ECB guidelines for the use of cricket nets has changed from 2 people to a maximum of 6 people on the condition that 2m social distancing is maintained at all times.  BHCC welcomes this change and is happy to announce that we are now accepting practice net booking requests for up to 6 people at a time.  With the increase of people we are also now offering a choice of a single (45 min) or double (90 min) sessions on Saturday's and Sunday's 11am-6pm.

The cost remains the same at £5 per person, per 45 minute session (a double session being £10 per person).
Members who have paid their 2020 club subscription can use the nets free of charge (with a confirmed time slot).  The membership payment will also carry over to next year so why not take advantage of 2 years membership for the price of one.

HOW TO BOOK A PRACTICE NET
As before, to book your slot, please send a message to Callum Thompson at 07879 696813 or email callumgthompson@icloud.com.  Don't forget to complete this Declaration and Consent Form for each person in the group and send to Callum with your booking request.  A scanned copy or a photo of the completed form is acceptable.  Payment must be made in advance via bank transfer (no cash payment on the day will be accepted).
Please also check the COVID-19 UPDATES page for further information.

TRAINING SESSIONS
With regards to a return to 'normal' senior player training sessions, at present it is not our intention to start any training sessions until we have further updates on playing cricket. Once guidelines have been issued on playing cricket we will review whether we will start up midweek training sessions.

Colts training sessions will be starting shortly so parents please keep a look out for messages from your age group managers about when your child's age group will start training, along with how the training sessions will be structured to ensure social distancing and compliance with government and ECB guidelines is maintained.

REMEMBER...
