Hope you are safe and well.
As you will have seen new government guidance has been released today regarding Covid-19 and the recreational game.
With the change permitting outdoor interaction with one person outside your household at a 2 meter distance this does allow for cricket net practice to be allowed.
HOWEVER, we are currently not in a position to open up facilities at the ground. Nets will take at least two weeks to de moss and be prepared to required safety standards. Once this has been completed a ‘booking’ system will be in place for nets to ensure social distancing guidelines are adhered to.
Please do not visit the ground for practice at this time as no facilities will be open.
We will issue a further communication once things have been made ready and the plans in place so you can enjoy cricket safely, hopefully for preparation for some competitive cricket in 2020
