Dear Members,

On behalf of Myself and the rest of your executive we welcome all established and new members to the 2021 season for the New Edinburgh Cricket Club.

As you all know the 2020 playing season was abandoned due to the pandemic. A difficult time for any social club to operate. I would like to thank the outgoing executive for their hard work in keeping the club together during these difficult times.

We all await the 2021 season with great expectations. Burghs will continue to work with our community and selected charities as we have done over the years. We also encourage you to put your hand up and help out throughout the season – this club is run entirely through volunteer support. We ask that you respect this, thank people for their contribution whenever you can and that we continue to grow and encourage every member to lend a hand to ensure our club continues on a progressive path.

The current committee has been working hard preparing for spring and a return to the cricket pitch. Team work both on and off the field whether it’s in the nets, in a game or while socializing will create a great environment for all of our members and their families to enjoy the game of cricket.
