THU DEC 9 & THU DEC 23 - T@ THE GREEN: Join Us For A Cuppa & A Chat - Free Community Event, All Welcome
Our new community get-together continues into December between 10am to 12noon on every second and fourth Thursday morning of each month.
Completely free to attend and personally hosted, everyone in the local community is welcome to pop by or stay for the whole two hours; whichever is most appealing.
Have a chat with other folk from around the village and surrounding areas, or simply sit back, relax and take in the calming view across The Green from our bright and airy clubhouse facility - while enjoying a cup of tea or coffee and some light refreshments.
TUE DEC 14 - CHRIS LAWRANCE'S CHRISTMAS BANJO BASH
Moved back from its usual first-Tuesday-of-the-month slot, come and enjoy the delights of music played in the traditional way by Chris Lawrance and his collection of musical maestros from around the local area.
Some of the finest fiddlers and string pluckers in the region descend on The Green for an old-time bluegrass and traditional music session once a month - and it's always worth a listen.
The gang usually get going from around 7.30pm. Come along and have a drink while you sit back and enjoy the sounds.
SAT DEC 18 - LIVE MUSIC FROM 'UNDERCOVER' AT LGCC'S CHRISTMAS PARTY
We're delighted to be welcoming disco, Motown, funk, rock & pop covers band 'Undercover' to The Green for the club's Christmas Party evening on Saturday December 18.
Although this event is free to attend, indications of numbers are always helpful re. bar staff etc. - so if you do see chairman Steve Wright or any other management committee member, please let them know of your likely numbers.

CHRISTMAS EVE FRI DEC 24 - THE 'DARKER' SIDE OF CHRISTMAS
Join us for carols and singalong specials as Kim Darker leads the festive celebrations in his own inimitable style for 'The Darker Side Of Christmas'.
The bar will be open so you can wish each other a Merry Christmas as the clock strikes twelve, all while enjoying the Yuletide company of fellow LGCC members and their guests.
NEW YEAR'S EVE FRI DEC 31 - RICARDO LIVE AT LGCC
(ENTRY BY ADVANCE TICKET PURCHASE ONLY)
Back and booked by popular demand, Riccardo will see us into 2022 at The Green with his terrific live act.
Due to Covid restrictions on numbers being able to attend, tickets for this evening MUST be booked and paid for in advance.
New Year's Eve has traditionally been one of the year's busiest nights at LGCC, however we'll be following government 'Plan B' guidelines with respect to capacities and other measures to promote the safety & wellbeing of our members and their guests.
To book your tickets, which are priced at £15 per person, please contact event co-ordinator Sandra Malloy. You can call her on 07515 458861 or pop into the club this weekend (either Fri Dec 10 evening or Sun Dec 12 afternoon).
All New Year's attendees are encouraged take a LFT (Lateral Flow Test) before they head for The Green on the night.
OTHER LGCC REGULARS...
YOGA SESSION: every Thursday 6.30pm to 8.00pm
COME along and enjoy a relaxed yoga session under the watchful eye of a qualified tutor, every Thursday evening inside the LGCC clubhouse.
Co-ordinator Glennis Taylor will be only too happy to welcome you along to a friendly group of like-minded folk.
Mats are available to use should you not possess your own, and the group often stay behind for a quick drink after the clubhouse opens to others at 8.00pm
DARTS - MONDAY & WEDNESDAY TEAMS: check 'Events' section for home fixtures (8.00pm starts)
LGCC's two darts teams are always in the throes of action each Monday and Wednesday (check website 'Events' section to see if they're at home or away).
It's Old Bill's Charity Darts League on Monday nights, with Wednesday's competition in the Hemel Social Darts League. Everyone is welcome to come along and support.
