I hope you are all well and keeping safe during this long winter!
Whilst most sport has been shut down during the winter, we are very hopeful that we will get a full cricket season in this summer (albeit with the social distancing modifications that we had in place in the latter part of last summer), and we have been busy scheduling adults and colts fixtures with other clubs.
In order to continue to operate we need more volunteers to step forward to help with the coaching of our youngsters. This could be assisting or leading one of the younger groups doing kwik-cricket on Friday nights, or helping with the hard-ball training for the older colts on Saturday mornings.
The ECB run a variety of training courses for different levels of coaches, and in order to explain the different offerings the Bucks Cricket Board has kindly set up a webinar on Tuesday 23rd Feb at 6pm - see the email from Emma Boswell-Harris at the Bucks Cricket Board below.

Good afternoon to you,
We have arranged a coaches Webinar for Tuesday 23 February at 1800. This webinar is aimed at people who coach junior age groups ideally U13 and below, however, anyone is welcome to attend. In addition, if you have anyone who is considering doing a coaching course they are also welcome to attend.
The Webinar is being hosted by Tony Robson and the staff at Bucks Cricket are very excited to have him onboard to deliver this session on our behalf. Tony worked for the ECB for over 10 years and has a wealth of experience in coaching children and young people. Prior to him leaving the ECB Tony was a part of the coach development team that helped put together and deliver the new ECB Foundation Level 1 Course. If you have seen any of the coaching resources on iCoachcricket or receive the Wings to Fly publication you will recognise Tony.
You will have access to him for around an hour during which time he will share some of his coaching experience and you will have the opportunity to ask him questions.
