SUN NOV 11 - LEST WE FORGET: A Warm Welcome Back At LGCC After Remembrance Day Tributes

04 Nov 2018

JOIN members, their families and friends back at LGCC's clubhouse after the Sunday November 11 Remembrance Day tributes have been paid at the war memorial on the green next to Holy Trinity Church.

LGCC will be providing tea & coffee as well as cakes - all to the wartime sing-a-long sounds that many members will be very familiar with.

The clubhouse bar will be open too, with a tot of rum available courtesy of former Royal Navy artificer Kim Darker, who is honoured to be laying a wreath at the service on behalf of Leverstock Green Cricket Club.

Leverstock Green village will come together just before 11am in order to honour those who lost their lives in service of this and other countries - particularly poignant this year as it is the 100th anniversary of the end of The Great War.

We hope everyone reading in will feel welcome to join others at LGCC after respects have been paid.
