I’m pleased to announce that Adult subs will be
staying the same price as last year. As a recap I’ve included details of
membership types and pay as you play and details of development league. For
Juniors, cost per Adult match will be £5 – there is no
requirement for juniors to pay the adult membership fee as they will be members
of the junior section. Similarly, costs for the Women's section are dealt with separately.
Please remember, without becoming a member you can play as you play
matches for £10 per match. Former members who wish to take up the
Friends of Edinburgh South membership for £50 which includes playing in up to
five games and voting privileges at all club meetings.
The development league will consist of a number of
games on Sundays – see the website for fixture details. These games will be
played with a minimum of 8 players and we need to cover costs of the pitch hire
etc.
To accommodate the new fixtures we are introducing
a rule where members can play one match per weekend as part of your membership.
Non members and members playing a second match on a weekend (i.e. you play in a
league match on Saturday AND the development league on Sunday) – the match fee
will be £10. This match fee is to cover a full days hire of a pitch – we do not
make any money from fees.
For people only interested in playing development
league – you can pay £10 per match for every development game you play and not
join. Any questions, contact Ian in the first instance.
To pay your membership fee we have a number of payment methods and schedules.
Full member - £220
Concession/student - £160
Payment by cash/cheque (payable to Edinburgh South CC) for full amount to Ian
Irving although bank transfer is very much preferred.
Or by bank transfer to the club account (contact Ian for bank details and to
confirm payment made – although they have not changed from last year if
you already have them)
To help, you can spread your membership fee over 2 or 4 payments. Each schedule
is defined below. If you are currently paying by monthly standing order you can
continue, however we are unable to set anymore monthly subscribers
unfortunately.
Two payment - due now and June - £110 full, £80 concession
Four payments - due now, May, June and August - £55 full, £40
concession
Can I ask you to reply to this message or
contact Ian and advise on the payment structure you want to use. Please
note - the payment structure you select MUST ensure you complete payment of the
full membership fee should you be leaving Edinburgh throughout the season.
