EMAIL UPDATE RECEIVED FROM THE LEAGUE

Apologies for the limited information being sent to clubs, please find below our current thinking and position for the season.
The league along with other leagues are working with the E&WCB alongside government guidance and will update you with any new information and decisions as they become available.
Our current thinking is that we are unlikely to get a full league season in although we are hopeful that some cricket may be possible and we will do all we can to make the necessary arrangements as soon as we can.
We recognise that clubs will be under enormous strain and are considering ways in which the league may be able to support its member clubs, and the game generally, in this very difficult time. Current invoices are all on hold and will be adjusted and reissued as the situation develops, please do not make any payments in the meantime.
We encourage all clubs and their members to observe the government's guidance as the health of our members, neighbours and families is of paramount importance.
We will communicate any changes to the Club Secretary’s so please ensure that you check your emails for updates and pass on the information to appropriate member of your clubs. This information will, in addition, be posted on the new website, this will allow any club player to access the updates as they are posted.

In the meantime I can confirm that the Ball Collection / Captain’s Meeting will not be going ahead as planned on the 16th April – we will reschedule as restrictions are lifted.
