Match report LGCC 2s winning ways continued with a good performance against Watford Town 2s. Dayle Littlejohn won the toss and elected to bowl, on a green underprepared looking Leverstock Green wicket. The bowlers bowled well with Dayle Littlejohn finishing with 6 for 17 off 11.1 overs and Imran Iqbal 2 for 59 from 15. It is key to note that regular chances went down in the innings and that needs to be put right for next Saturday. In reply Jamie Wallis led the way with a stylish unbeaten 61 and was supported well by vice captain Lee Littlejohn (23 not out). Sam Revell unfortunately dislocated his knee batting and the whole of LGCC wish him a speedy recovery. This win meant automatic promotion however there was no celebration at Bedmond Road, focus needs to be on 2 more wins and then champions!
